The Aliko press brake family consists of three product series, with the F-Series being the most compact. The bending length of the F-Series ranges from 3.0 to 4.2 metres, while the pressingforce varies between 220 and 500 tonnes. All F-Series press brakes are installed at floor level.
The installation process is fast and requires no foundation work, taking just one working day to complete. This also makes it easy to relocate and reinstall the machine if its position within the production facility needs to be changed in the future.
Aliko press brakes are known for incorporating unique features that are rarely found in standard production machines. In the SP4200-500 F-Series press brake being delivered to the Czech Republic this autumn, that distinction comes in the form of a 5-axis backgauge equipped with an additional finger unit. This third, mechanical backgauge finger provides extra support when bending long and slender workpieces, improving both accuracy and handling.
The machine’s versatility has been further enhanced with an extended 600 mm stroke and an increased daylight clearance of 900 mm. Beneath the pneumatic lower tool clamping eith rollers is the Aliko Crowning 130 system, while a tool-change bridge at the end of the machine enables quick and convenient tool handling.
Among the machines scheduled for delivery to Slovakia this autumn is this tandem configuration consisting of two Aliko SP4200-500 F-Series press brakes. Two independent press brakes can be combined into a single tandem machine by installing a connecting section between the bending tables. This enables the bending of workpieces up to 8.4 metres in length with a combined press force of up to 1,000 tonnes. The increased throat depth allows for the bending of long and wide parts, while the line laser assists operators in positioning workpieces accurately.
The Lazer Safe safety system, responsible for operator protection, functions seamlessly both when the machines are operated independently and when configured as a tandem press brake. Each bending table is equipped with a transmitter and receiver at aech end. When switching to tandem mode, the inner units are raised, allowing the safety system to operate using the outermost transmitter and receiver pair.
