Work efficiency without compromising safety
The original motion control of the press brake, transitioning from rapid movement to a slower bending speed, was managed through multiple steps using a button, a foot pedal, and a switch that requiring both of the operators hands. With the installation of the Laser Safe safety system, this motion control process became fully automated. At the same time, the foot pedal that initiates movement frees the operator’s hands for bending tasks while keeping the emergency stop button always within reach.
The Laser Safe safety system monitors all aspects of the bending process, significantly improving workflow efficiency, reducing the operator’s workload, and enhancing workplace safety.
The manual back gauges were upgraded to 4-axis back gauges controlled from the unit. The X and R movements of the back gauges are managed via CybTouch control, while the Z1 and Z2 movements are adjusted with separate levers below the screen.
